Harvest for the Hungry Garden Plant Sale and Master Gardener Craft Table
April 21, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 2:00 pm
Feed the Hungry and Enrich Your Garden! The garden is financed by holding one plant sale every spring, offering thousands of organically grown vegetables (heirloom tomatoes, squash, peppers, and eggplants), and flowering annuals and perennials (many are California natives). In addition, a number of vendors will be present, including the all-volunteer Master Gardener Food Gardening Specialists (FGS) who will sell garden crafts and guides that support sustainability (funds support free education programs and consultation provided to home gardeners). Crafts (limited number) include insect hotels, two styles of bird feeders, cookie cutter birdseed feeders, and mason bee houses. Laminated food gardening guides will be available as will be a “Sonoma Strong and Sustainable” tote. The FGS also will have an information table. The garden and vendors accept CASH OR CHECK ONLY. Free admittance to the sale; come early for the best plant variety and craft selections.
