How can we create vibrant landscapes, engaged communities and responsive governments?
Join us for an inspiring evening with Toby Hemenway as he shares how permaculture design can help us re-connect to and regenerate nature and community, from our homes and neighborhoods to our towns and cities. Toby will trace the history of our disconnection from nature and our loss of self-reliance and self-determination, and then offer a toolkit for rebuilding those skills.
Permaculture offers solutions, and Toby’s presentation, along with a special introduction by Daily Acts’ Trathen Heckman, will offer plenty of tools, methods, and inspiring examples of people and communities who have re-wilded, rebuilt, and renewed themselves and their place.
If you’ve appreciated Toby’s series of talks and videos on permaculture and civilization, you’ll want to see this significant new chapter and learn how you can take action.
Toby is also the lead instructor for Daily Acts’ Permaculture Design Certificate Course (PDC) which will provide practical tools and support to transform your self, your neighborhood and your community. Starting on October 8th, come out one weekend a month for six months to learn about and experience community-based permaculture first hand.
