I have been modifying our back yard for the past 5 years we have lived here. We have dug up ivy & black berries to plant veggies & edible flowers. I have transformed wild spots into beds that are scattered through our yard. We still have one patch of black berries because they are so tasty! We have some roses & day lillies, a japanese plum & apple tree that have been here for a long time. Although I'd rather we didn't have a sapling oak, I can't bear to dig it up. I just love to plant things & watch them grow!
