Pocket Park, Cotati, Intersection of Loretto & LaSalle Avenues
In this workshop, we’ll learn from expert horticulturist Wendy Krupnick the ins and outs of soil building, proper drainage, disease prevention, and pruning and maintenance, with a focus on maintaining your raspberry patch. We’ll cover basic drip irrigation principles and cover programming, zones, and basic installation. At the end, we’ll take an herb walk with local herbalist Dawn Zaft down the creek, harvesting culinary and medicinal herbs from both Pocket Park and the nearby vicinity. The workshop will culminate at Redwood Cafe where you'll have the option to purchase lunch and continue our discussion of herbs and herbal uses.
Learn about all the medicinal benefits of homegrown herbalism and find new joy in growing basic edibles and herbs to meet your needs at home!
